The strangest duet i ever heard was when i was working in a studio in NYC and an engineer brought in a tune to mix. It was "Funky Town" with Ru Paul and Henry Rollins. It was cool and going along fine until the end when they tried giving a tribute to the Stones when Jagger goes, " ...girls are DYIN' ta meet ya!" Except they went into this freaky " Henry, I know some Queens in the back room just dyin to meet you, " and " Ru, there' s some sweaty boys in the pit that would love to get their hands on you..." and they kind of flirted and moaned and made some noises and shit. My jaw hit the ground.
When the session was over I just stared at him and said, " Dude, does Rollins know his career is OVER if he releases this?" And he was like, " Yeah, everyone is trying to tell him but he won' t listen!"
Needless to say, the song never saw the light of day.
